From the tomb New life emerges Where once was death A ray of light shines Blinding eyes Swollen with tears Doubt lingers In the wonder of it all How can it be? Do I dare to believe? That the burial place Can bring forth life That beauty can radiate From the wounds That love is stronger Than all other forces To the light I turn my face Where once was fear New hope emerges Beating heart Swollen with life Courage grows In the mystery of it all A new way forward I will dare to follow In the barren places I speak out life In the brokenness I search for beauty In the face of injustice I walk in love

Vanessa- This is a beautiful prayer. I particularly love this sentence: "I will dare to follow
In the barren places." Barren is the mantle. And dare is the path. Your writing is a great reminder.
